My fitness journey started in Laramie, Wyoming, when a high school friend of mine was dealing with mental struggles and I was able to help him overcome those through physical activity. My love for the industry and the power of mental and physical health began here. During this time, I started using household items and creativity; I watched my friend transform physically and mentally as well as intrigued my interest in the effects on the human movement system. From then on, I had to learn more. I attended the University of Wyoming where I received my undergraduate degree in Kinesiology and went on to earn my MBA. Both degrees helped me really dig into the operational as well as the financial side of the fitness industry. While I was at the University, I wanted to be involved much more than going to class and put my knowledge to work, overseeing all personal training and group fitness aspects around campus. After graduation, I began my career aiding in the successful development of several franchise fitness centers where I was mainly on the operations side.

To enhance my personal and career growth, I researched new opportunities and landed on the doorstep of Orangetheory Fitness as the Controller. I knew a more administrative directive role would allow me to grow personally and in return help our growing staff and others succeed. The result has been incredibly rewarding as well as challenging.

Sonja Leigh

Sales and Operations Training Specialist

I’m from beautiful, snowy St. Paul, Minnesota! I went to UW Stout for Fashion Merchandising & Business. I’ve lived in Kansas City, Dallas, Portland & Newport Beach. I found my training & development passion leading a team of Chili’s trainers, opening 37 restaurants – my favorites Edmonton, Paris and Sydney! I was promoted to new roles at Chili’s, Hollywood Video, Director of Training at Diedrich Coffee, and Noodles & Co. where I designed and implemented enterprise-wide training programs and succession management for team members, managers and executives. I developed top performing teams to raise productivity, increase functionality, reduce turnover and produce exceptional leaders.

I found Orangetheory Fitness as a member in Dec 2016, starting a side hustle as a Sales Associate in Sept 2018. I began recruiting and training Sales Associates in March 2019 and currently partner to create and deliver Studio Manager training. It has been my dream to combine what I love about fitness with my career. Orangetheory Fitness is perfect.

I’ve run 3 marathons and 7 half marathons and I’m a double black diamond, moguls & trees boarder. I have 2 adorable pups Maxwell and Lucy who remind me having a yard to run in, a few treats and unconditional love are the keys to happiness.

Colleen Student

Regional Team/Area Manager

I am from St. Louis, Missouri and I moved to Colorado in 2015. I graduated from the University of Central Missouri with a BS in Graphic Arts Technology Management in 2011. I have a Personal Training Certification from PTA Global.

Working at Orangetheory Fitness, I love helping enhance peoples’ lives! Being a part of impacting someone’s life is what continues to fuel my passion, from the small moments to the life changing transformations knowing that you are a part of the journey is incredibly rewarding.

When I’m not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family and being active outdoors; snowboarding, hiking, camping, etc.

Kelsey Donahue

Regional Manager

Born and raised here in Colorado, I have always been active outdoors and in sports. Once organized sports ended, I quickly found a passion in fitness and a desire to make the world a healthier place. While working towards a BS in Exercise Science and Nutrition, I started working as a personal trainer and group fitness instructor. Through a friend’s referral, I started looking at a job at Orangetheory Fitness.

It didn’t take long to fall in love with the science behind the workout, the community, and the incredible impact OTF can have on individual lives. After one year of coaching, I moved to Boca Raton, FL to work at OTF Global Headquarters as a Fitness Educator. I was able to travel around the US and also internationally to Kuwait and Guatemala to help open new OTF locations. After one year working as a Fitness Educator, an amazing opportunity to help grow and develop the CO region appeared, and I moved back to be a part of the We Spread Health team.

When not at OTF, I enjoy spending time with my husband, hiking with our dogs, or finding the best local taco and margarita combo in town.

Scott Katzenstein

Senior Area Manager

I’m from Long Island, NY and couldn’t have found a better place to live and expand my family than Denver, Colorado. I studied exercise science and Kinesiology at SUNY Cortland where I truly feel in love with fitness. My passion started in helping myself learn more about my own body, then grew into craving to help others. I’ve been in the fitness industry for over 15 years and have certifications that include NASM, ACE, TRX, Schwinn and more. I love being about to help grow our Orangetheory Fitness staff into better leaders and in return help them create more vibrant lives for our members. I love being physical whether it is doing an OTF class or going on a hike with my amazing wife, daughter and dog. I’m truly passionate about cooking and if I wasn’t with OTF I would be supporting others with their nutrition through eating the right foods.

Caleb LaBelle

Area Fitness Developer

I grew up in Kenosha, Wisconsin and attended John Brown University in Arkansas where I received a BA degree in Kinesiology. Additionally, I am a Certified Personal Trainer through NSCA. Growing up, I played over 10 different sports, creating a love and fire for movement, which later lead me to my career at OTF. I am completely passionate about my work because I have a platform to bring the absolute best out of both coaches and members. It truly is a life changing field both for myself and for others I get to work with. In my free time, I love to read, drink coffee and explore Colorado!

April Zimbleman

CorePower Yoga, Studio Manager – Littleton, CO

I started taking yoga classes at Corepower Yoga in 2010 and dove into Hot and Hot Power Fusion teacher training in 2012. After that experience, I was hooked and took every single training that I could. I completed Power training in 2013 and Yoga Sculpt training in 2014. Yoga makes me a better person and I want to share that feeling with the world!

Josh Soden

Franchisee Recruiter-Developer

I was born and raised in Doniphan, Nebraska. It’s a small farming town located about 100 miles west of the capitol, Lincoln. I have since been growing and developing my social, career, and leadership skill sets in Denver, Colorado.

I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Most of my education was spent studying marine and river fishes of the world to discern any evolutionary insights into their biological, and physiological reactions to our manipulated environments and variables.

I started my professional career in Colorado with Complete Nutrition and during our cross pollination of clients and events became a manager with Orangetheory Fitness We Spread Health.

As a coach for Orangetheory, I hold a Certified Personal Training Certificate from the American Council on Exercise and CPR Certificate through the American Red Cross.

I personally fell in love with Orangetheory through the workouts and what it carried over into my life. Base pace is a way of life. It’s taught me the importance of maintaining, recovering and repeat performing my work life balance to the benefit of others. I am constantly performing and digging deeper into myself to assist others in their pursuit of their best selves physically, mentally, and spiritually. We Spread Health and it’s founder have given me the opportunity of a lifetime to not only grow and keep growing, but to leave a positive mark on those around me day in and day out.

I am passionate about family. My dogs and significant other are always a positive, adventure-some pack. Whether we’re in the mountains on a Fourteener, camping in Pike National Forest, or walking in Wash Park, we’re always together. I have a knack for music. I am a singer-songwriter and you can also catch me dj’ing your local OTF Glow Class. I’m an avid reader and am always searching for that feeling of peace within.

Rita Fountain

CorePower Yoga Front Desk Manager, Littleton

Raised in the always active city of Denver, I fell in love with yoga through the need to release tension in my muscles from heavy weight lifting, and my mind from daily life. As a body building competitor and exercise enthusiast, I can’t think of any better way to share my passion for weights and yoga than a juicy yoga sculpt class. Combining the opening of the body with strength training in a high intensity class is beneficial for every BODY. I am always ready to tackle a new challenge whether it be a yoga pose, personal record in the weight room or staying grounded. Being present every day in a community where I can share my passion for a healthy lifestyle and present mind, is a dream come true.

Paul Jurevich

I have been in the fitness industry for over 20 years. I started as a personal trainer in southern California and have always been passionate about health and fitness. I moved my family to Colorado in 2011 to open my first Orangetheory studio. I am now co-owner of three amazing studios in Colorado. I am an avid mountain biker, snowboarder, and rock climber. Moving to Colorado was the best thing I could have done for myself and my family! We love the people, the lifestyle, and the beauty this state has to offer.

I grew up in upstate New York and pursued a BS in Business Management and double major in Pre-Veterinary Medicine at Cornell University before living and working in Los Angeles and Newport Beach, CA in Private and Corporate Banking with First Interstate Bank and later Wells Fargo Bank. In search of a great place to start a family, I moved with my now husband, Kyle, to Denver, CO in 1993. After 10 years in Finance, my focus shifted to children and involvement in their school community and I was lucky to discover…. The practice of Yoga!

I was a gymnast growing up and suffered a severe knee injury as a teenager. Years of running, biking and skiing also had begun to take their toll on my knees. I first turned to yoga for physical healing, but soon after discovered its benefits for body, mind and spirit.

I’ve been a Certified Yoga Instructor since 2008, teaching Hot and Power Vinayasa Yoga at CorePower Yoga as well as private instruction and youth programs. Fortunately for me, my connection with the yoga community is what led me to join the awesome team at We Spread Health when they were looking to expand from their CPY and OTF businesses into health food eateries. In June of 2016, I signed on to be part of the WSH Team.

It’s a pleasure and privilege to work with everyone connected with WSH. After all, who can’t get behind helping people feel better by exercising regularly and eating clean!?!

When I’m not doing yoga, teaching yoga or helping out at We Spread Health, I love playing tennis with my tennis team friends, skiing, cooking, traveling, reading books with my book club (20 years running now) and, last but not least, spending time with my wonderful family – including my husband Kyle, daughter Henley, son Hagen and our dogs, Rags and Sadie.

CorePower Yoga Studio Manager, Foothill

I was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah and love having the mountains in my backyard to play in.

I attended the University of Utah and studied Exercise and Sport Science. This is where my passion for health, fitness and inspiring others sparked!

In 2011, I received my 200 hour Yoga Teacher Certificate from LifePower Yoga. Less than two years later I discovered CorePower Yoga when Tim brought it to Utah, and I’m so grateful for how my job allows me to grow.

I connect everyday with incredible people. I have the wonderful opportunity to see students grow and change both physically and mentally on and off their sweaty yoga mat.

In my free time, I love to cook and bake.

Lisa Sullivan

CorePower Yoga Director of Operations – Utah

I was born in New York, grew up in Florida, lived in Colorado and Oregon, and now I’m in Utah. I have a BA in Marketing and certificates in ERYT-200 and YACEP.

I love everything about yoga and being part of the We Spread Health team! But most of all it makes me feel good. Yoga abd wellness allow people to express and be comfortable with who they are, where they are. I bring this philosophy into my classes and my studio. While my classes are built on alignment and structural integrity, I offer a lighthearted balance of explorative playfulness, meditative flow and creating a heartfelt connection with each student. My hope is that when you visit CorePower Yoga, you feel like you are part of a family. Shanti, Ananda! (Peace and Joy!)

Besides yoga, I LOVE dogs, chocolate, hiking, sunshine and puttering in my garden.

Kate Aubry

CorePower Yoga, Director of Operations – Colorado

I grew up in Moline, Illinois always playing outside and riding my prized Schwinn 10 speed everywhere. I fell in love with running the first time I beat all of the boys during the Presidential Fitness challenge in grade school. Running became a really big part of my life in my 20s when I decided to run my first marathon. I was injured during the marathon and unable to run for an extended period and that’s when I discovered yoga.

I graduated from Marquette University and worked in Telecom and software before I started teaching yoga.

I love what I do at We Spread Health because I get to see the impact we have on peoples’ lives every single day. Yoga is transformative and it is such a joy to get to share this experience with our students through the physical practice of yoga.

When I’m not in the studio, I like spending time with my two favorite guys, my fiancé Steve and my dog Angus. I love hiking, riding around on my cruiser bike, eating tacos, planning vacations, and the Chicago Cubs.

Julie Buch

We Spread Health Office Manager

I have been a resident of Colorado since 1984 and love the outdoor active lifestyle. My husband Jim, and I have spent many weekends road and mountain biking, hiking, paddling class III and IV sections of whitewater and backcountry skiing in the Colorado mountains. Although we have scaled back and aren’t quite the adrenaline junkies we used to be, we still enjoy the great outdoors, especially hiking with our dog and doing long-distance cycling, which we just took up in the last couple of years.

In 2000, I started practicing yoga several times a week as an alternative to working out in a gym. I found yoga to be just what I needed to increase my strength and flexibility and relieve the stresses of a demanding job as an accountant for a large corporation.

After attending the Level I teacher training in Hawaii with Baron Baptiste in March 2004, I knew that yoga was going to be more than just another form of exercise. It was going to be a way of life. Since then I have attended many workshops and trainings to expand my knowledge. I have completed both the 200-hour Power Yoga and Hot Yoga certification programs through CorePower Yoga here in Denver.

I left the corporate world in September 2004 to teach yoga full time. After 3 years, I transitioned into a management role while continuing to teach and managed CorePower Yoga’s Ken Caryl studio for 5 years. I still teach yoga and learn as much from my students as they learn from me. Yoga changed my life, and I believe it is a gift that is meant to be shared.

I joined the We Spread Health team in mid-February 2013 as the Accounting/Office Manager. I have loved being a part of this amazing team and watching these studios grow from the ground up. It inspires me to be inspired and believe that anything is possible.

In addition to enjoying outdoor exercise, my regimen includes regular yoga practices at CorePower Yoga, classes at Orangetheory Fitness, bootcamp and cycling workouts. I love to relax as well and enjoy gardening, cooking, reading, and vacationing anywhere tropical!

Brooke Slizeski

CorePower Studio Manager, Trolley Square

I was born in CT, lived in MA, NH, UT, CA, WA and settled in good old Utah. I grew up swimming competitively and went on to become team captain of my NCAA Division 1 college swim team at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. I competed in the Big West conference, the Pac 10 and went to OT’s in Long Beach in 2004.

I majored in Social Science at Cal Poly and started working in product management after college. I took CorePower Yoga’s teacher training in 2015 and during the training began to re-evaluate what was really important to me. While I loved my job, I was working 12 hour days and traveling abroad every month. As a young mother, this was a hard balancing act and the only thing that helped me decompress was yoga. I earned my 200-hour CPY Power TT and 200-Hour HPF TT certificates. When the opportunity to become the manager of the \Trolley Square location came, I couldn’t turn it down.

I love everything about what I do! Yoga is an outlet, a religion, belief, value, exercise, meditation, a safe place to land and a life changing experience. I love to help others experience this. Being a part of CorePower Yoga and We Spread Health has been life changing for me.

Co-Founder of CorePower Yoga, Franchisee of OrangeTheory Fitness and GrabbaGreens in Denver, and President of the operating business, We Spread Health

CorePower Yoga is the largest yoga studio company in the nation and will continue to grow at a similar pace as it has over the last 10 years. We started with 1 studio in Denver and the business has grown to 70 studios and a $150mm company. This is where my family and I still live.

Helping to grow and scale this company from humble beginnings to become the leader in the industry has been a blessing and a dream come true. The primary purpose and noble cause to grow this company is to share the positive impact with healthier communities.

During my time with CorePower, I served as Director over the HQ studios of Colorado. In addition to creating and directing the internal design and build team, I developed and orchestrated many of the National Programs, Trainings and Classes with CPY.

The opportunity to start fitness franchise operating business, We Spread Health, was a dream come true to incorporate my passion of interval training classes with Orange Theory Fitness and yoga with CorePower yoga. I adore my We Spread Health team and intends to make the world a little bit healthier.

Thanks to Julie (my wife) for introducing me to yoga and blessing us with three fantastic girls (Ellie, Tatum and Maya) that I hope to make proud.
